Cradle To Crayons Board of Directors
Cradle To Crayons Board of Directors The Moundridge Associated Churches, through the Community Services Commissions, governs the Childcare Center Board and provides one board member. In addition, one representative is selected from each of the following churches: Eden Mennonite Church, West Zion Mennonite Church, United Methodist Church, First Mennonite Church of Christian, and Moundridge Evangelical Free Church. The remaining six spots on the board are made up of At-Large members from the community. No more than 50% of the board members may have a child enrolled at the center. Board members serve a three year term.
Board meetings take place here at the center on the second Monday of every month. During these meetings, operations of the center are discussed as well as any fundraising opportunities. The board members help with the fundraising events by donating supplies, volunteering their time or helping us sell. The board also approves center policies such as tuition changes, budget changes, handbook changes, etc.
The current members of the Board are: Nathan Kohls, Drue Durst, Jessica Schmidt, Steve Kaufman, Crystal Hink, Angie Neufeld, Dawn Lafferty, and Chris Huxman.
